What I do

Helen is the Coordinator of the Alliance for Useful Evidence, an open-access network of 3500+ individuals and organisations from across all sectors, both in the UK and internationally, interested in promoting the use of evidence in social policy.  By championing the need for useful evidence, the Alliance provides a focal point for improving and extending the use of social research and evidence in the UK.

Helen has previously worked in third sector project management and coordination roles at the Prince's Trust, Media for Development, Khulisa, and the Ramblers.  She became interested in the use of evidence in social policy when she worked on aligning Khulisa's offending behaviour programmes to Project Oracle's Standards of Evidence.

Outside of work she enjoys country walks and frequent visits to the playground with her two children.
