What I do

Georgina works in the Innovation Skills team as a Learning Services Manager, helping to build and deliver Nesta’s learning and skills offer. She is responsible for the management of Nesta’s ‘DIY’ learning products, and Creative Enterprise Programme. Georgina originally joined Nesta as team coordinator for the skills team.


Prior to joining Nesta, Georgina worked for social enterprise Bootstrap Company, an affordable workspace provider for start-ups, social enterprises, charities in Hackney. During her time there she managed a variety of projects and programmes. Prior to this Georgina worked as a freelance creative producer, working for a wide range of organisations, from Oxfam to Secret Garden Party.

Before living in London, Georgina studied in at the University of Edinburgh, where she also enjoyed five years working at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

An avid volunteer, Georgina is currently volunteering with Hackney Pirates, and Chatsworth Road Residents Association, to deliver local community initiatives and events.
