Northern Ireland Development Manager, Shared Lives Plus

Frank Johnston

What I do

Shared Lives Plus is the UK network for Shared Lives and Homeshare. Frank is working with health commissioners and other key stakeholders in Northern Ireland to develop Shared Lives schemes to support older people.

Frank has worked in the community and voluntary sector for 16 years. This has included roles within employment and disability support. Prior to joining Shared Lives Plus, he spent over 10 years as Community Projects Manager with Volunteer Now and Voluntary Service Bureau. This involved managing a number of volunteer led support services for older people contracted to Health & Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland. He also helped to establish Age Partnership Belfast, a collaborative partnership supporting over 400 older persons groups and six senior citizens forums in Belfast.
