What I do
Fiona is a Creative Enterprise Programme accredited workshop associate.
After an education in design and an MBA at Cranfield, Fiona worked as a brand strategist at agencies including Elmwood, True North and Wolff Olins for over 12 years before founding Kin, an independent brand strategy and design company.
Recent clients include Alara, AstraZeneca, British Council, Bupa, Ceres Power, Challs, Design Council, Imperial College, Linklaters, Naylor (Yorkshire Flowerpots), Nesta, Royal Collection, Royal College of Art, RSPCA and V.Group.
Fiona has worked with the Design Council for over 10 years on design thinking and business growth mentoring programmes. Five of the businesses she has worked with have been turned into Design Council case studies.
With the British Council, she has worked on several international projects including naming and branding with True North and a new, English language exams product Aptis, which launched in over 100 countries.
Other strings to her bow include being a part-time lecturer teaching design thinking at London College of Fashion, visiting lecturer at Imperial College Business School and MSc Strategic Marketing supervisor at Cranfield University.
