Assistant Director, the Health Foundation

What I do

Adrian Sieff joined the Health Foundation in January 2012. He is leading the Foundation’s ambition to inspire health services to make care person-centred, supporting people to make informed decisions about and successfully manage their own health and care.

Adrian worked for many years in the Department of Health, leading the development and delivery of policy in diabetes, mental health and reducing teenage pregnancy, as well as early thinking in the department on patient empowerment and stakeholder engagement. He has worked for the Audit Commission, the Social Exclusion Unit and National Voices.

If we are going to realise the renewable energy of people and communities, we need to put a lot of energy into changing the way the ‘system’ works.
