Tony is an award-winning television director, channel executive and successful chief executive. He has worked in the UK and international media industries for four decades and is an avid supporter of and investor in content creation across all media.
In 2006, Tony joined the founders of Skype to develop and launch Joost, the world’s first broadcast-quality television platform for the internet.
Tony joined The Imaginarium as Chief Executive Officer in 2013. He works with co-founders Andy Serkis and Jonathan Cavendish on some of the world’s most innovative performance capture (PCap) media projects.
He has spent many years mentoring talent through his senior positions in media companies and is now eager to mentor a company outside his own business or department.
Tony acknowledges that 40 years of running media businesses for small and very large companies have given him a broad view of the industry and he understands things from a wide perspective.
Red Handed, founded by Sam Usher, is a content strategy agency, working with broadcasters, corporate clients and sports federations to create the most powerfully engaging film, video and TV possible.
It has a deeply held philosophy of chasing intelligent strategy and creative ideas, not money and, as a result, has grown from three people to ten over the past two years.
