Head of Programme Development
Nadja leads the Programme Development Capacity (PDC) team at Nesta.
The PDC is a shared resource supporting the organisational opportunity development, bid / proposal management and project delivery management.
The PDC team engages with stakeholders both internally and externally to develop strategy for programme development including stakeholder relationship management, identification of opportunities, strategic positioning and defines guidelines and standards which drive consistency across processes, tools and deliverable. We foster the project/programme management culture, processes and outcomes.
Prior to joining Nesta, Nadja worked on programme development for the Young Foundation, has also worked on the policy development, programme design and implementation in the field of socio-economic development within the European Commission and as an independent consultant for the World Bank in the Eastern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.
In the UK, Nadja also worked as a consultant for Department for International Development (DFID – UKAid), University of the Arts London advising on EU funding for the creative sector and for a number of private sector consultancies providing expert advice on programme design and management. She holds PGCert in Economic Management and Policy from Strathclyde University and a MSc. in Project and Programme Management with the University of Liverpool.
