Javahir is the Analysis and Research Policy Intern in the Research Analysis and Policy team.

Javahir will be working alongside the innovation policy team to develop and deliver research and policy work looking at how innovation policy can be more effective, socially beneficial and fit for the future.

Originally from Manchester, she recently graduated with a postgraduate degree in Human Rights from University College London and holds an undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Nottingham. 

Before joining Nesta, Javahir worked as a Political Communications Intern with the Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA), a London based charity aimed at helping refugees in the UK. She has also worked with the University of Manchester's Politics and International Relations Department, on an EU funded project studying ethnic conflict transformation.

Javahir is a keen traveller and has studied abroad in Malaysia as well as volunteering across Asia and South East Asia.
