Jack is a Junior Data Scientist in the Data Analytics Practice. He uses data science and machine learning for social good across Nesta’s missions.
Jack completed a master’s degree in Data Science from Queen Mary University, where he later worked as a research assistant. There he developed machine learning methods to detect and classify animal and human sounds, including the calls of hyenas and human laughter. Before joining Nesta, he worked at the NHS, tracking the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccination programme.
