Henry joined Nesta Challenges in March 2022 as part of the On Purpose programme.

On Purpose is a social enterprise that helps people move into more purpose driven careers. His previous On Purpose placement was at Big Society Capital where he worked on systems change thinking within the UK affordable housing market and a new quasi-equity investment fund supporting diverse led social purpose organisations.

Prior to On Purpose Henry was a commercial property professional and entrepreneur in the hospitality sector. He spent the previous 10 years as an investment analyst for various property funds. He worked on the redevelopment of Camden Lock Market and two regeneration schemes in Elephant & Castle and Deptford providing affordable workspaces for local businesses. In 2018 he opened an eco hotel built out of 26 repurposed shipping containers in Waterloo called Stow-Away and launched a craft beer and street food business in Deptford called Little Faith. He is still involved in the running of Little Faith today with the help of an able team of staff. He holds a degree in Economics with Environmental Studies from the University of Edinburgh.

Outside of work he plays a weekly game of 6-a-side football and enjoys perfecting his sourdough pizza recipes for his two young children.
