Emma was a Design Lead for Nesta's 'A Fairer Start' mission.

Emma joined Nesta from Public Health Scotland where she designed learning solutions for Scotland’s public service workforce. She spent the rest of her week working as one half of an interior design partnership, which focused on reuse and wellbeing.

Emma’s first degree is in 3D Design. Since graduating, she has worked in a number of roles across the private, public and charity sectors, guiding clients and stakeholders through the design process to create products, services and programmes. She is studying towards a MSc in Systems thinking and practice and is a certified coach and facilitator. Emma loves to create the conditions for others to create and experiment with bold new ideas, think differently and learn and improve together.

Emma has two young children, lives beside the seaside and enjoys reading, paddle boarding and cycling
