Bex joined Nesta from Single Homeless Project, based in North London, where she worked alongside people experiencing multiple disadvantages to co-produce local systems change.

This included influencing services to provide trauma-informed support and improving access to appropriate mental health support for people experiencing homelessness. She was also involved in supporting services and people in Camden and Islington to implement co-production by setting up local co-production networks and action learning groups.

Previously, Bex worked for a community centre delivering housing, welfare and immigration advice. She also facilitated their education programme, which every summer involved creating costumes and dance routines for the Notting Hill Carnival.

She is interested in the power of building relationships and community to create change, and thrives when supporting people to think creatively and differently.

Outside of work, Bex competitively plays amateur netball, loses hours making Spotify playlists and spending time with friends who inspire her to draw and paint.
