Six futures for health data

Our series of scenarios and wearable prototypes for how we'll use health data in years to come.
Prototype health data wearables

Nesta held a workshop that examined the future of personal data collection and its transformative potential for healthcare. During the event we imagined different ways to harness the value of data we collect about our own bodies.

With the help of Cassie Robinson, we created six future health data sharing systems, each accompanied by a new wearable technology.

In collaboration with Cassie, Candyce Dryburgh and Verity Nichols we developed the wearables as paper, wood and card prototypes, with user manuals and accompanying accessories. Below is a gallery of the six narratives, wearables and videos of the workshop participants explaining them.

Read more on the background to these data sharing systems and prototypes and how participants responded to them.
