Job Description

About the role

Joining Furbnow as Product Manager is an incredible opportunity to put your skills to practise to have a real impact on delivering the Net Zero agenda.

As Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading and implementing Furbnow’s product strategy. Working directly with the co-founder and CPTO, Laurence Watson, in the Product and Tech team, you’ll lead product experiments and delivery of our product roadmap, creating the best possible product and experience for our customers and suppliers to get homes retrofit at pace.

✔️ What your new job will be:

Deliver the product strategy and roadmap

  • Manage product features throughout their lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
  • Project management to ensure we deliver on our existing project commitments, partnerships and innovation grant funding deliverables
  • Lead on identification and development of product experiments with the Operations, Growth and Technology teams
  • Interrogate our customers and suppliers to gather regular structured and unstructured feedback
  • Collaborate with the CPTO on product strategy, direction and prioritisation
  • Collaborate with Head of Growth to develop core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Scope up MVPs and oversee their trial and testing, then develop and deliver launch plans with the wider team
  • Be our product champion - driving improvements forward around our core product hypotheses and monitor product performance
  • And as anyone in product knows.. much more! We move quickly and put our customers at the heart of everything we do.

🔎  We are looking for a smart, ambitious and entrepreneurial hustler based in London, Birmingham or remotely.

  • Ship it! You’re able to imagine, sketch and create tools to test your hypotheses, and you can live with the imperfections
  • User focused. You’re more than happy speaking to users, running workshops or sending surveys to get the feedback we need
  • Organisation and prioritisation - we always have a long list of potential things to do and multiple efforts going on at once
  • Passion! Our goal is nothing less than to transform people’s homes and accelerate home decarbonisation. Passion for moving beyond intention and climate goals into real action is a must!
  • Light-speed learner. Everyday the company is growing and evolving, and so will your role over time.
  • Be okay with making mistakes. We are all learning and mistakes are the byproduct of doing something new. Making them is part of the journey, but dwelling on them is not
  • Creative pragmatism. Ideas are great, but only if they can be executed

This is an opportunity to join an exciting new venture in a booming field with the potential for a significant impact on the UK's climate targets.
