This forum brought together a mix of researchers, arts organisations and technology companies to share best practice of working in Research and Development (R&D) in the Arts.
Hosted by The Digital R&D Fund for the Arts, supported by IC Tomorrow, the forum included panel discussions, conversational formats and a showcasing area for some R&D projects from the R&D Fund and IC tomorrow.
The Digital R&D Fund for the Arts is a partnership between Nesta, the Arts Council England and Arts and Humanities Research Council to support research and development projects that use digital technology to enhance audience reach and/or explore new business models for arts’ organisations.
IC tomorrow is a Technology Strategy Board programme that stimulates innovation and economic growth in the digital sector by breaking down barriers and opening doors for a new generation of entrepreneurs.
