Collaboration and innovation at the Digital R&D Annual Forum
Speakers and projects from all areas of the arts, research and technology came together on 3 July for the second Digital R&D Annual Forum, held at Vinopolis in London.
The day-long event was a chance for people to hear about projects funded through both the Digital R&D Fund for the Arts and IC Tomorrow as well as from arts organisations, researchers and entrepreneurs who have embraced collaboration and digital innovation or risk taking – depending on your view point, as they are two sides of the same coin.
Keynote speakers included:
- Patrick Bradley of Station 12 talking about risk in innovation
- Conrad Bodman talking about innovation in the arts and the Digital Revolution exhibition at the Barbican, open until 14 September 2014
- Nick Starr of The National Theatre talking about innovation in the arts and cultural sector.
Words of wisdom from those getting their hands dirty
Over the coming weeks, we’ll add videos of selected talks and presentations to the Native website so that if you missed the event you have a chance to catch up on some of the words of wisdom from those getting their hands dirty in research and development. And even if you attended the forum, you can revisit the speakers you want to hear again.
Watch the highlights of the day, just to whet your appetite.
