Critical to our work is reaching the right audiences within the public sector and helping to raise their awareness of the benefits of innovation.
We support people to understand and communicate the value that innovation brings through a variety of ways, including online content, conferences, seminars and workshops. This enables us to build knowledge and engage wider networks by helping them to understand the benefits of innovation for themselves.
We’re part of a Europe-wide consortia working on Design for Europe, a design innovation platform that shares know-how and expertise from across the continent. Our team leads on the public sector work with a series of events and online content to help people learn about design and innovation. Find out more at designforeurope.eu.
We organise bespoke workshops to introduce participants to design and innovation methods and showcase their value. For example, at the 2014 OECD Conference, we ran an interactive session for senior public administrators and government representatives that introduced some key principles and tools on designing and prototyping public services.
We work with organisations to help them explore new ways of working. We’ve hosted a series of problem-solving workshops with DfID and British Council to expose them to different innovation tools and methods, and we recently ran an interactive session with Arts Council Wales on using data to improve how they work.
