Wider impact of creative economy
We believe that creativity helps to drive innovation and growth across the UK’s economy, and not just in those industries that are labelled “creative”. Creative and cultural organisations play an integral part in vitalising local and regional economies.
We are currently developing pilot initiatives to explore how engagement with the arts and working with small, highly creative firms can bring significant benefits to organisations.
Clore Fellowships
The NESTA Fellows will investigate the role and impact of arts, culture and heritage organisations in fostering creativity and innovation in other non-profit and for-profit sectors and areas of the economy.
Innovation in the arts
This project hopes to provide a new model, based on the collaborative and distributed leadership practice of the RSC's Ensemble.
Designing for Transition
DefT aims to stimulate innovative approaches that will help the arts, heritage and cultural sector deliver its goals and objectives.
