What I do
Shaun is Global Innovation Lead at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Geneva.
There was nothing innovative about Shaun’s birth, in fact it was wholly unremarkable, in a hospital, in a bed, in New Zealand shortly before 2am. Shaun grew up in Australia where he fantasised about growing up to be either a fireman or a dog. He became neither.
Shaun spent many years in a rock band called ‘X rays from Venus', you haven’t heard of them because they produced nothing remarkable.
He pretended to go to university for a while and then got a job in child protection, and then another one, and then another one and then another one, and then another one and then one more. And then he joined the Red Cross.
Shaun likes good food and travelling but does not dance well and does not respond well to too much sunlight.
