What I do

Lou-Davina is Research and Programme Manager for the Innovation Growth Lab in Nesta's Policy & Research unit. 

Alongside running the IGL Grants Programme, Lou’s work focuses on the growth and development of IGL. She also led the research behind the trials database that IGL developed.

Biography

Lou-Davina first joined Nesta as an intern in the Innovation & Economic Growth team where her work focused on high-growth startups and international innovation. She is co-founder of the LSE Student Union society Women Leaders of Tomorrow.

Lou-Davina holds an MSc in Public Management and Governance from the London School of Economics and a BA (Hons) in Social Science from University College Roosevelt. 

 

Policymakers working on innovation and business growth have a double challenge: how to promote disruptive innovation while ensuring growth is inclusive. At IGL2017, we will be discussing cutting edge ideas and approaches for those interested in innovation, entrepreneurship and business growth policy.

Last December we co-hosted our winter Research Meeting at Harvard Business School, together with Professors Karim Lakhani and Rembrand Koning. Over 50 researchers were welcomed for a day packed with eight presentations of early-stage, ongoing and completed randomised controlled trials (RCTs).
