Uploading Innovation

London - 27 - February

Attendees explored the impact of the emerging participatory culture enabled by the web on the future of work, education, skills, ABC (Arts, Media + Culture) and entrepreneurship.

The event featured a variety of presentations, open discussions, demos and 'how to' sessions. The principle idea was to create a self-organising environment, which was as welcoming to the keen and curious as it was to the early adopters.

The event brought together a mixture of bloggers, social software developers, scientists, artists, educators, practitioners as well as policy-formers, who wanted to change the(ir) world, together with the people building the tools.

The event tied in with the work that NESTA Connect are doing.
