UK Catalyst Awards - 24 July

On 8 May, we held a drinks reception to celebrate the launch of the UK Catalyst Awards. Sponsored by NESTA, BERR, Make Your Mark, UnLtd and Polecat, the awards are designed to reward people who use social technology to benefit their wider community.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown announced the awards last July, when he set up the Council for Social Action – part of the Government’s agenda to create new types of support and leadership to enable social change.

The overall winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony in London on 24 July.
