About Transformers: How local areas innovate to address changing social needs

NESTA and the Young Foundation launched 'Transformers: How local areas innovate to address changing social needs' - a report which considers why some places innovate more effectively to meet social needs than others.

The launch was introduced by Jonathan Kestenbaum and included speeches by Geoff Mulgan, Director of the Young Foundation; Andy Burnham MP, Chief Secretary to HM Treasury; and a discussion with panellists Irene Lucas, Chief Executive of South Tyneside Council and Steve Sipple, Head of Youth and Community Services at Tower Hamlets Council.
