Sian Killarney
Sian Killarney works as the team administrator for both the Future Innovators and Connect teams and joined NESTA in February 2008. Sian’s role involves managing financial transactions and recording expenditure. Her other duties include supporting the teams with booking meetings, creating contracts, organising team events and doing desk research related to projects.
After studying Textile Design at the University of Derby, Sian worked as an assistant fashion buyer for Fenwick, Tesco and most recently BHS. In this role she provided support to buying managers and other team members by analysing trading reports, implementing decisions arising from weekly team meetings, assisting in meetings with suppliers and directors, negotiating prices and confirming orders.
