Description
The rural economy exemplifies a number of key features of the future world of work. These include the growth of micro-businesses and self-employment, IT-based products and services, and diversification of traditional industries.
Young people have much to benefit from learning about these changes, and the skills and knowledge which fuel them. Just as young people can benefit from learning more about, and taking up opportunities in, the rural economy, rural economies need young people.
