A-Frame

A-Frame was a unique networking programme designed to connect creative industries and corporate enterprise.

Through a series of  talks, workshops and mentoring partnerships, the programme aimed to inspire creative people to be more business-minded, and business people to think more creatively.

Run by the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) and supported by NESTA, A-Frame was designed to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge-sharing across a range of sectors.

Benefits of cross-sector collaboration

Although in-sector innovation is valuable, there is increasing recognition of the benefits that cross-sector collaboration offers, in particular breaking down boundaries, sparking innovative new ideas, new partnerships and business growth.

Collaborating across silos

Using both online and face-to-face networking, A-Frame paired creative entrepreneurs with senior business advisors to form partnerships to provide new resources, connections and opportunities for creative businesses.

The ICA ran a series of monthly events for participants, focusing on topics such as personal impact; strategic thinking and leadership; innovative marketing; and defining success.
