Dero is a nascent network that streams live and 'encore' (on demand) music performances to regional mixed arts venues and home audiences. It aims to co-produce and distribute high-quality music experiences and cultivate new markets, while ensuring costs to audiences remain competitive, the music experience unparalleled and producers seeing a realistic return.

To make the project happen The Sage Gateshead worked with Manchester Camerata, Aurora Orchestra, Berwick Maltings, Alnwick Playhouse, Gala Durham, Videojuicer and Aframe and researchers from Cambridge University and Fusion Alliance.
