Patrick McKenna

Patrick is Chief Executive of Ingenious Media plc, one of the UK's leading media investment and advisory companies. The group operates solely in the media sector through its six divisions: Asset Management, Consulting, Corporate Finance, Investments, Securities and Ventures.

Prior to forming Ingenious in 1998, Patrick was Chairman and Chief Executive of The Really Useful Group. Before that, he was a Partner in Deloitte & Touche, where he ran the media group.

Ingenious has advised on and invested in a number of innovative deals across the media sector, including television, film, music, games, live events and sport. The company has a wide portfolio of investments in creative media companies, as well as sector-focused media production funds.

Patrick is Chairman of The Young Vic Theatre and chairs a number of companies operating in the media sector, including the television company, Hat Trick Productions and the music publisher, Stage Three Music. He is also a member of the Film Business Academy Board, part of the Cass Business School, which offers Executive MBA programmes and business courses specialising in film.

Previously a Board Member of the British Tourist Authority and a member of the Government's Advisory Forum on Tourism, Patrick was also on the Board of the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.

He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of the Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
