Over the past several years, the BBC has been actively experimenting with open innovation, most obviously through its Innovation Labs and the Backstage initiative. The BBC's latest wave of Innovation Labs took place across the country throughout March. Matt Locke joined us to talk about "Open Innovation at the BBC" and then led a discussion on the wider implications of the open innovation model for other sectors, and for innovation policy.
