NESTA believes that the Government can help create and maintain a high value-added economy by identifying and supporting innovation across the different sectors of the economy.
The creation of the Department of Innovation, Universities and Skills and the re-launch of the Technology Strategy Board provide an opportunity for this to be achieved – but only if they receive the support that they need from across the rest of Government.
