NESTA written submission to the Office of the Third Sector 'call for ideas' on creating a third sector research centre
The Government can help expand the currently limited evidence base third sector organisations' contributions to innovation in public service delivery, and in stimulating economic growth. We call for the development of more appropriate innovation indicators and further research on the conditions that help scale up social innovation. A research grid could help provide co-ordination and coherence of knowledge and regional knowledge hubs could help share knowledge between and from the sector.
