2. Richard Goold

Richard Goold's work explores the way we view paintings in their reproduced form on the Internet and in magazines. He draws upon the corruption of the reproduction caused by the format in which they are being displayed, within modern graphic layouts. Through the use of appropriation and image manipulation seen within popular culture visuals today, he uses paint to take the reproduction further, in order to explore the breakdown of the image. Having graduated from Farnham UCA in 2012 with a degree in Fine Art, Richard has exhibited widely in the south of England, predominately in London. He is currently the Artist in Residence at Bearwood College and is working towards producing a body of work for shows in 2013, along with applications for a master's degree in painting.

Richard has two canvases exhibited in one of our meeting rooms.
