Paulette McKoy is a self-taught modern abstract artist, originally from Manchester, now living and working in London. She has worked for many years in fashion and dance and the colours, textures and shapes that Paulette has been exposed to in these environments has been an inspiration to her art. She started creating art in 2001, after discovering her love of painting through a gift created for her brother's birthday. This led her to produce works of art that have been showcased in both solo and group exhibitions in and around London over the past ten years. Paulette's work has also been featured at the Royal Academy of Dance, London in celebration of the Faculty of Education's 10th anniversary. Her work continues to be exhibited and regularly commissioned throughout the UK.
