7. ClassDojo (US)

Learning from Assessment

Behaviour management software ClassDojo supports learner participation and self-reflection. Teachers identify desired behaviours in the classroom for the students to work towards - for example, submitting homework on time, not interrupting or helping others. Using ClassDojo on a mobile device, like a smartphone or tablet, teachers record students' behaviours while in class.  This information is captured on students' individual profiles, which can be shared with parents as well as learners. The underlying idea is that the tool facilitates recording in context and automatically creates summaries to enable tracking of behaviour and positive reinforcement over time.
