i-Probono is a non-profit online network that connects civil society organisations in need of professional legal assistance with lawyers and students wanting to contribute their skills to meaningful work.

It has a global reach which enables lawyers to engage with projects around the world. Over 30,000 lawyers and 1000 civil society organisations have access to i-Probono's database. To date, over 240 projects have been successfully matched, around 87 % of the projects posted.

The organisation incorporated in 2009 and now sits on the Attorney General's International Pro Bono Committee.

i-Probono was founded by Shireen Irani, a qualified UK solicitor with previous experience in the voluntary sector in the UK, the US, and India. The plan for the site is expand into other professional sectors, eventually offering organisations access to a wide range of pro bono professional skills.
