The Greenhouse is a community hub. It has been completely self-funded since its inception and relies on donations from the community. In addition to a cafe and outdoor garden, this not-for-profit business offers a wide variety of goods including books, local wildlife information, toys, bric-a-brac, eco-friendly goods, furniture, and modern and vintage clothing and textiles. Profit is reinvested into local social, environmental and community projects.

However, it's far more than just a second hand shop. It also acts as a flexible, community driven space open to opportunities and suggestions. The Greenhouse is a centre of information and has a community gathering space available for local meetings and events.
