Noel Sharkey

In this interview, Noel Sharkey, Professor of Artificial Intelligence at University of Sheffield, talks about his personal interest in drones and UAV technology. He vocalises his concerns over fully autonomous drones, and discusses the pros and cons of military influences on civilian technology.

He also offers his views on police use of UAV technology, suggesting that it should be regulated similarly to the use of firearms or phone tapping.
