Nesta Fellow, Ian Hargreaves, Professor of digital economy at the Cardiff School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies and Cardiff Business School has been given a CBE in the Queen’s birthday honours.
The former editor of The Independent and New Statesman was given the honour for services to the Creative Economy and Higher Education.
In April 2012, he spoke at Nesta on the rise of data journalism which can be watched in the video below.
