Mapping the Big Green Challenge

People powered responses to climate change summarises a full report into the 355 applicants who entered the Big Green Challenge and their ideas for tackling climate change.

Appleby research produced the full report for NESTA, grouping the 355 applicants who entered the Big Green Challenge into nine broad proposal types.

Different characteristics of applications were taken into account including their C02 reduction targets, their innovation goals and processes, and their approaches to the delivery of their ideas.

Both the report and its summary highlight the distinctiveness of community-led responses to climate change.
