Description
This project will analyse the survival and growth of business start-ups in the UK. It will:
- estimate the share of high-growth firms in the UK;
- estimate the distribution of growth rates for several intervals; and
- analyse the growth trajectories for several cohorts of firms.
The project will analyse the patterns of firm growth, providing detailed examination at the industry and regional level. The report aims to become the reference tool for policymakers interested in facts about firm growth, industries and regions in the UK.
