Kenneth Phillips
Providing 60 per cent more protection than conventional safety helmets, Dr Kenneth Phillips' ergonomically-designed helmet mimicks the human head's own protective properties. NESTA funding has allowed him to identify new materials, test prototypes and perfect the design before launching on the motorcycle market.
