Innovation Research Centre
The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills, NESTA, and the Technology Strategy Board are commissioning independent, multi-disciplinary research focused on exploring the broad definition, role, drivers and impact of innovation.
Call for proposals
We're inviting proposals for a core institution or partnership to host a strategic research programme and knowledge-exchange hub. A series of distributed projects carried out at other institutions will be commissioned at a later stage.
We're inviting full proposals, costed to a maximum of £2.8m at 100% FEC over five years, from UK research organisations eligible for ESRC funding. We'll accept partnerships with other organisations, as appropriate.
All applications must be submitted by 4pm on Tuesday, 22 July 2008.
