On 20 November 2007, NESTA hosted an event to explore the synergies and drivers required to encourage collaboration and innovation between universities, industry and venture capitalists, focusing on the model and examples provided by Silicon Valley.
Invited to share their views were George Osborne MP, Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer and representatives from Silicon Valley Connect - Reid Hoffman, James Slavet and Megan Smith.
