The Future of People Powered Health: Read more
Here in the Health Lab, we are interested in creating more people-powered and data-driven approaches to health and wellbeing. We think that living well with ongoing health conditions and preventing mental and physical ill health is critical to making the health and care system sustainable in the long term.
Our second annual 'The Future of People Powered Health’ event on 9 May gave both healthcare practitioners and interested parties the chance to learn about some of the most exciting innovations in the field of people-powered health.
The event explored the idea of the 'end of patients' by showcasing inspiring examples of how people are creating health and wellbeing themselves, and asking how great people-powered solutions can be sustained and scaled up.
All our speakers had successfully led change, as people with lived experience, innovators and entrepreneurs. None of them had waited for the system to be ready - they'd created solutions, challenged conventional wisdom and changed what was possible.
Here we introduce some of the event's key speakers via a series of blogs. From digital solutions to the power of 'place' in innovation, recap on the conversation via our hashtag #peoplepoweredhealth.
