Cuts in funding, changing ways of audience consumption and the inevitable rapid disruption to business models mean that arts and cultural organisations face leadership challenges like never before. How can today's leaders of creative organisations meet the emerging challenges of the 21st Century?
The event focused on progressive cultural leadership in the face of business uncertainty and was chaired by Sir John Tusa.
The event coincided with the publication of a number of provocation articles by Clore Fellows on the issue of innovative leadership in cultural organisations. The publication was commissioned by NESTA and the Clore Leadership Programme.
The panellists included:
Claire Antrobus, Arts Consultant and Clore Fellow
John Holden, Visiting Professor in Culture, City University and an Associate at Demos where he was Head of Culture from 2000 to 2008
Sarah Weir, Head of Arts and Cultural Strategy at Olympic Delivery Authority
