With current patterns of provision increasingly unsustainable, health and social care for older people is at the centre of current debate. We know we need more personalised care services with a greater focus on dignity in care but how do we achieve this in the grip of a recession?
This seminar, hosted by NESTA and Patient Opinion, brought people together from across the care sector with web professionals passionate about using the web as a tool for social change. It will draw on the work of Patient Opinion, BUPA and other organisations who have been exploring using the web to transform older people's care.
This was a small and focussed discussion seminar with contributions from a whole load of inspiring and inspired people, including ILCUK, Slivers of Time, Innovations in Dementia, Tyze, Sidekick Studios, and Grandparentsplus.
