Agriculture accounts for 30 per cent of greenhouse emissions and as much as 30-50 per cent of all food grown worldwide may be lost or wasted before and after it reaches the consumer. The planet has 1 billion people hungry, but also 1 billion people overweight. How can technology be used to change what we eat and how it is grown and distributed? Can we tackle hunger, obesity and climate change all at the same time?

This event looked at how information technology can help us to make better choices about consumption and connect with those who produce our food.
