"I'm editor of the UK edition of Conde Nast's WIRED magazine, where we get excited about the innovative people, products and businesses changing our world. I write the monthly "Digital Life" column in GQ magazine, and the "Tech Traveller" column in Condé Nast Traveller. I speak widely on topics ranging from the future of luxury brands to the new rules of business in a mobile-internet age, and recent engagements have taken in Dubai, Geneva, Moscow and Shanghai. I travel widely to meet the people shaping our future - most recently visiting MIT Media Lab, companies in Tokyo, and events such as TEDGlobal, DLD, Stream and Google Zeitgeist. Recent media appearances include BBC Newsnight, BBC Breakfast News, Radio 4's Today Programme and Channel 4 News. I've edited all sorts of things, from The Guardian's websites and Comment pages to The Jewish Chronicle; made TV films for Channel 4 News; and written long features for The Telegraph Magazine, Sunday Times Magazine and The Observer. For WIRED I've written cover stories on world-changing figures such as Eric Schmidt and Reid Hoffman."
