This event showcased the work we are supporting in Digital Education, as part of London Technology Week.

It was an opportunity to discover and connect with organisations we think are at the forefront of innovation in this area.

We strongly believe in using the power of technology for social good. Over the last three years, we have backed more than 20 organisations who are innovating in the application of technology to learning - either by using technology to improve educational outcomes or educating young people in how to manipulate and create with technology.

Guests had the opportunity to find out about learning technology initiatives for young people that are hot right now. Rather than future gazing, it was a showcase of ‘ones to watch’ now.

The audience heard from a wide range of exhibitors and speakers - spanning innovative ed tech products and services; arts organisations that are deploying digital technology to engage and educate young people in new ways; and new initiatives helping young people to get creative with digital technologies.

Nesta chief executive, Geoff Mulgan, spoke about what we are looking for when we choose to back an organisation in this field and the rationale for our portfolio.
