Nesta, 1 Plough Place, London EC4A 1DE
On Wednesday 8 July, the MacArthur Foundation Research Network on Opening Governance and Nesta held a public workshop on innovations in governance.
The event focused on lessons learned and remaining questions related to innovations in health and wellbeing, internet governance, and economic development, among other areas of public concern. In particular, we explored:
- new means for quantifying our communities and ourselves to improve decision making
- how collective intelligence and networked expertise can help solve public problems.
The event was an opportunity for guest to hear about the findings of the Network and as well as share their own experiences and insights, with the aim of strengthening the community around governance innovation – in London and beyond – and giving guests the chance to forge new collaborations with those active in the field.
